New Trial Databases in Social Science

(1) 皮書數據庫

Introduction:
皮書數據庫 is based on the well-known book brand "皮書系列" ("The Leather Book Series"), analyzing the research results of China's economic and social development currently. It covers six major themes: China’s society, economy, industry, region, cultural media, World Economy and International Relations, including books, reports, charts, materials, information, videos etc. The database covers more than 80 countries in the world, 30 international regions and international organizations, China's 28 provincial administrative regions, 20 regional economies, 200 prefecture-level and above cities, more than 100 industries, 41 first-level disciplines, 179 second-level disciplines. It includes various fields and aspects such as society, economy, politics, culture, education, and international issues, fulfilling the demand for empirical study resources in economics and sociology. It has become an important thematic database for more than 1300 institutions around the globe

(2) 國別區域與全球治理數據平臺

Introduction:
國別區域與全球治理數據平臺(CRGG)is an academic digital product established by the Social Sciences Academic Press (China). It aims at a emerging subject, country and regional studies and focuses on country research, regional research, international organizations, global think tanks, and other fields. It integrates more than 300,000 articles of basic information, first-hand materials, and scientific research achievements comprehensively. The product has been built as a platform for the integration of Country Regional and Global Governance Data resources and research results. It provides multi-level and comprehensive academic service, including resource acquisition, scientific research technology, achievement publication and dissemination to achieve the level of discipline development and assist in the construction of new think tanks, and serving product utility for country's foreign strategy.

(3) 臺灣大陸同鄉會文獻數據庫

Introduction:
Since the retreat of Chinese Nationalist Party in 1949, members of the Nationalist Party, students and educational leaders settled in Taiwan and established hundreds of natives associations. Most of these associations have literature clubs, established journals to maintain the relationships of their fellow citizens, preserve local documents, and enhance cross-strait exchanges. The content of journals includes memory of people in the time of the Republic of China, the local chronicle materials, information of the natives associations, cross-strait exchange records, etc. The database contains the journals created by the Taiwan China Fellow Villager Association Literature Club (台灣大陸同鄉會文獻社). It presents resources and constructs sub database from two dimensions: academic context and provincial divisions. It proovides new historical materials and new perspectives for the study of modern Chinese history, regional history and cross-strait relations.

(4) 一帶一路數據庫

Introduction:
一帶一路數據庫(One Belt One Road Database) is planned and constructed by Social Sciences Academic Press (China). It is built by relying on the plentiful academic research strength and research results of the Chinese Academic of Social Sciences and the “One Belt One Road” research resources in China and abroad to cooperate with the implementation of “One Belt One Road” strategy. The content covers more than 60 countries and 30 domestic provinces along "One Belt One Road", provides information and data on the national conditions, infrastructure, economic development, resources, environment, history and culture of the countries along it. The database also provideds the latest construction situation of the "One Belt One Road" , expert reviews, academic developments, foreign media reports and other information.
