New Trial Database: Britannica Original Sources
Britannica Original Sources contains over 420,000 e-works of classic, primary source and general reference materials in twelve subject areas such as History, Literature, Science, Law, Politics, Religion, etc. The vast collection includes classic literature and documents such as speeches, biographies, landmark court decisions, editorials and more. It provides some of the greatest discoveries, literary achievements as well as humankind’s religious, political, social and legal development in the words of the actual authors, discoverers and knowledge-seekers.
The original documents in Original Sources are categorized by Authors, Topics and Events:
1. Authors
Classics, letters, speeches, manuscripts and other documents written or delivered by 221 famous writers, politicians, philosophers, scientists, religious figures such as Charles Darwin, Thomas Sterns Eliot, William Shakespeare, Martin Luther King (Jr.), Sun Wu, Winston Churchill, etc.
2. Topics
97 key topics such as Women’s Suffrage, Ancient Greek Literature, WWII, The Cuban Missile Crisis, Realism, etc.
3. Events
Great events told by eyewitnesses and historians, such as French Revolution, Life in Ancient Greek, Genghis Khan, Exploration of the New World, The Space Race, etc.
