INSIGHT into China-US Relations in Global Perspectives (Part 1)

Since the People’s Republic of China and the United States established diplomatic relations on January 1, 1979, the China-U.S. relations entered the 41st anniversary. From thenon, the China-U.S. diplomatic relations has entered a new stage. Both countries have made significant developments in the fields of economy and trade, science and technology, culture, education, and military through exchanges and cooperation. With the advancement of reform and opening up, China's international status has rapidly improved, and the relations between the two countries has undergone some periods of challenge. In recent years, the conflicts between China and the United States in politics, economy, technology and other fields have been escalating. As the China-US trade conflict and the COVID-19 epidemic have worsened the relationship between the two countries, countries around the globe are concerned about where the China-US relationship are headed.

We recommend nearly 30 books on the China-US relations from the perspectives of history, politics, economics and trade, diplomacy, and culture which provide in-depth analysis of the China-US relations, the impacts of the conflicts, and suggestions of how to effectively avoid conflicts between major powers.
